Bachelorette party invitations are a great way for the bride-to-be to let her girlfriends know she wants to spend some time with them before her big day. Stagette party invitations should be kept simple and fun. You can focus on a theme or you can design the invitations based on what activities will be done at the bachelorette party. For example, if it is going to be held at a pub or bar, they can be in the shape of a martini glass. If you are planning a bachelorette party that will be including male strippers you could always make the card in the shape of a penis, just be careful who sees or gets the card. The last thing you want is your invitation to be in the hands of your friends 11 year old child and having them ask what that is. You could also be suttle about it and make it look similar in shape, but be a picture of pickle and 2 olives beside it, or something like that. Or if at someone's house you could make the cards in the shape of a food platter, cake or a wine glass.

For something very simple, you can create a simple postcard sized invitation. On the front you can put a picture of the bride-to-be, or something else relating to her or where the party will be held. You can also see if you can pick some old pictures of her having fun as a kid, playing sports or eating ice cream with half of it all over her face. Then on the back you would have the details of the bachelorette party, such as location, date, rsvp information, etc. Make sure that you indicate that they must rsvp you by a certain date so that you can confirm any reservations or numbers for any venue or event that you are planning as part of the party.

If you are planning a bachelorette party instead of a bridal shower, then guests don't generally bring gifts. But if they do, you should and almost must ensure that they receive thank you cards. You can use the same cards that you used for the invitations and actually have them printed at the same time to save money. On the back you would put a generic thank you and a space for the bride to write a comment for each person. Thanking the guests for coming is a very nice thing to do, it is not always expected by people and doing it will show your respect for them.

Do no look at bachelorette invitation and thank you cards as one more wedding chore. This is a fun party and the personalized party invitations should be kept just as fun. You should make sure that the invitations show the light and fun side of the bride, making it enjoyable for everyone. The invitations, party cards and thank you cards should reflect that.
